DIGITAL HEROES — PARTICIPANTS WANTED!

Are you interested in social media, technology, current affairs, or simply curious about how to spot fake information online?
We are looking for 6 students aged 16–18 to take an active part in an Erasmus+ group mobility with students from Germany.
German students will visit our school and work together with Slovak students. They will investigate different ways in which online information can mislead, manipulate, or harm people:
– Hoaxes and fake news
– AI-generated images, videos and voices
– Manipulation through headlines, algorithms and social media
– Cyberbullying and online harassment
– Phishing, scams and social engineering
– Echo chambers and confirmation bias
– Influencers, advertising and hidden persuasion
– Privacy, digital footprints and oversharing
– Deepfakes and impersonation
– How to verify information and sources

During the four-day program, students will be busy both in the mornings and afternoons, taking part in workshops, team challenges, discussions and activities around Bratislava. The program will also include plenty of opportunities to get closer with the German students, communicate in English and work together in international teams.

No hosting is required! You do not need to accommodate a German student at home.

We are looking for active participants. This is not simply a trip or a chance to miss classes. You will be expected to take part in the activities, cooperate with the German students and contribute your own ideas. The project will continue with a second part in Osthofen, Germany, in May 2027. Exact dates will be confirmed later. The students selected for the Bratislava mobility will have the opportunity to participate in this continuation as well.
